Back from TTD!

Hey ladies! I just got back from my TTD shoot and I wanted to pop in and tell you how it went!!

We used Arek from Lovemore Photo and Stacy Doolan of About Face Artistry for my make-up. The make-up was phenomenal!!! Amazing!!! I wanted to go for drama and boy was it dramatic! I loved it!

As for the pictures...

I don't even know what to say, I'm ridiculously and outrageously excited to see them. I should have some teasers tomorrow but I'm going camping so I might have to wait until Monday to post! Arek and his wife were amazing to work with. I started out not wanting to trash my dress at all and somehow wound up floating in the ocean. And I loved every minute of it. DH was not pleased that he agreed to go (I would've been fine doing one without him!) but he even admitted it was fun. I cannot say enough great things about Arek! He had so many wonderful ideas and did anything and everything to get the shot. We went on a ride- so did he. We went in the ocean, so did he! It was a blast. Any ladies who are on the fence about it.... DO IT! You won't regret it!

As for my dress, it's extremely sandy but not torn or anything like that. After a good dry cleaning it should be good!

And oddly enough... this was my first time in the ocean in NY this summer!

DH pretty much dragged me in! We were just going to take pictures in the sand by the water but it was so hot and they had this awesome palm tree sprinkler shower thing and DH grabbed my hand and we ran through it. At that point, why not get in the ocean? It was worth it. But I didn't have a change of clothes!

Where did you take pics? I know coney island has those palm trees sprinklers on partts of the beach,, I love ttd pics-

Yupp it was right on the beach in Coney Island. We walked into Luna Park on the street entrance, went through the park, took pics on the rides then on the Boardwalk by the food stands and the Wonder Wheel and Cyclone then down onto the beach and into the water.

It was crazy- so many people were taking pictures of us, with us, following us around, congratulating us. My sister came along to help out and she said some kid said to her mom 'There's a lady on that ride in a wedding dress.' and her mom didn't believe her.

These pics are gonna be awesome

It definitely did! That sh!t is HEAVY when it's soaking wet. I'm sure there's going to be some pics of me stumbling around in the water shivering.

Can't wait to see your teasers!

It took some major guilt trips but even DH said it was a blast! He said that these are the real 'us' kinda pictures! But I had to drag him there kicking and screaming.
