I missed you guys!!! and I missed home but we had a GREAT vacation in Washington DC. We were there for a week and spent the fourth there... we saw the beautiful fireworks on the national mall, spent time with one of Vin's friends from College and we got to spend a night w/ Laura and Mike (Laural2979)-- fresh back from their HM!! We did a bar crawl the night before the fourth with them and it was soooo much fun!!! Thanks so much Laura for inviting us out and showing us a GREAT time in DC-- that was honestly, the highlight of our trip.

We relaxed a lot, took our mind off the wedding, spent TIME together and saw so many great things-- we had a wonderful time and it was a lot of fun. We missed Char though and she is happy to have us home. We came home to TONS of RSVP's!
It was a special group of the Navy-- the men were hand selected because they would go in first and fight off the enemy, build up forts/bases and build a little mini air strip and then the rest of our men would come in and do what they had to do to take over and claim. He was a very proud Seabee.

We passed by the Greek Embassy on Embassy Row and I thought of you and Penny!!!! I wanted to snap a pic but the tour guide was going SO fast!!! I was like OMG THE GREEKS!!!
