Back from Village Bridal!!!
GREAT EXPERIENCEE!!
I think it's important for me, as a plus size bride, to chronicle these things in detail for other full figured girls cause it's annoying that you never get to see what dresses look like on fuller figures.
First of all, if you're plus size, do yourself a favor and go here. They have a ton of modern, up to date stuff for young brides so you don't look like a 40 year old.
Second, remember that Sophia Tolli Daphne gown I was looking for? It's in my album. Well, I asked if they had it and they said no, but they pulled a bunch of SOphia Tolli gowns for me cause they had them and I was thriled about that, they've become my favorite designer. So I put on the first dress and I go wow, I really like this dress over and over again... she goes o check the computer to see what the name of it is since all it had was the model # and she says... guess what? THAT'S THE DAPHNE!!! LOVE IT!! So excited that I found it!! And it was HUGE so she couldn't cinch it really tight cause it was so big, but I got the idea and I love it. I think I might have found my dress.
Then I tried on a Demetrios that I loved also, but it's way more expensive. Then there was another Sophia TOlli with Spaghetti straps...AAAAH< ALL SO NICEE Now I'm going to have trouble deciding!!
Really, this was a different experience, I didn't feel like aplus size bride burdening the consultant, there was so much for me to choose from, and not have to settle on. So excited.
Here are some photos. They were more flattering when she was pulling them in for me since they were either too big or too small to cinch my waist the right way, but OMG they all looked so nice when she pulled in my waist!
