Back on the diet regiment

Yup.
Starting Saturday work will calm down a bit (I've been working fashion week like a dog!! Friday is the last day) so thats when I'm on my 'Jen is insanely working out and eating good' plan..
I lost 15 pounds last year on the South Beach Diet so I'll go back to it..my engagement party is Oct 12 so it will be a month of serious business.
I'm starting to mentally prepare for this. I'm gonna go food shopping Friday so I have plenty of healthy lower carb food options around the house (normally I have no food in the house LOL but when dieting I eat every 3 hours).
I need words of wisdom girls.

You can do it!!! Advice... marinate... everything!!! FH and I eat a ton of chicken and steak and it never gets boring because we've marinated it in everything from steak sauce to italian dressing. You can do it!!! Just think of how amazing your going to feel at your party Are you doing south beach again?

Drink lots of water, cut out sugars, and make sure you still eat balanced meals of fruits, vegetables, and proteins. Avocados, olive oils, and chicken and lean steak are all great tasting and not bad. If it tastes mediterranean, it's good for you. Most importantly, don't starve or deny yourself!

Good luck!

Yes, Going back to 'the beach'!!
Which is basically no sugar, flour, full fats...no carbs for 2 weeks at all, after the 1st phase then 1-2 servings of whole grain carbs per day, the rest low fat, lean protein & fish, and tons of veggies.

The problem is I eat really healthy most of the time, so my body is used to low carb hi veggies..I rarely eat junk. You get better dieting results when you totally change your eating, for me its only modifying it slightly.

Ugh
