I am itching to start a wedding project and I am making my own menus, programs, place cards etc. I need to find a nautical background picture that i (or can be) faded out and type words over. Anyone know where to look? TIA!!

Re: Background image for menus/programs?
there are may different types of nautical themes...are you thinking anchors? I think anchors are pretty cool especially since they can have a double meaning (nautical/ and you are my anchor) which i think is toooo cute!

I haven't checked but try Photoshop. DHH did all our programs, menus, table numbers, and escort cards and used a West African Sankofa symbol as the background image and got it off Photoshop. I was surprised they would have brushes for west African cultural symbols, so I'm sure they'd have something common like nautical images.

maybe you can try and do it the way you do monograms on microsoft word w/ INSERT --> TEXTBOX and make sure the line filler is white and then you can type over it; you can even use a clip art pic then.
