Re: Bad, bad DOG problem
My best advice would be dog training. They can help you with your little problem.
Re: Bad, bad DOG problem
I have no advice, because my dogs behave horribly... But I wanted to say your baby is gorgeous!
Re: Bad, bad DOG problem
Please talk to your vet, and then to a behaviorist. Don't try to solve this problem on your own.
Re: Bad, bad DOG problem
If you need a behaviorist, I love the one we are working with. Only problem is that you hae to commit to doing whatthey tell you to do. We are working slowly with our dog because he guards his toys.
Re: Bad, bad DOG problem
I wish I knew how to help... I have a cat... but good luck getting help and I hope he stops the biting!

Re: Bad, bad DOG problem
Your dog is running your house by demanding attention. Have you tried not giving your dog attention when he demands it...ie do not play or pet your dog when he asks...instead when you want to. I would also make sure that your dog does something for all his rewards. Making him do basic things like sitting or downing before he gets his food or a treat or even before you pet him that way he understands his place in the house. The other thing is to have people ignore him when he is being disruptive...the same thing you would do for a ranting child. He must learn that that kind of behavior does not get him any attention, negative or otherwise. Good luck.
Re: Bad, bad DOG problem
Take him to a good vet who has behavioral experience. He may be having a reaction to an illness that you can't detect. Once that's ruled out (it's the most common cause of new aggression in animals) you can move on to behavioral issues. A muzzle is not the answer to the problem, it could actually make things worse in that he'll become more aggressive and possibly toward you.
