did you try those doggy listerine strips....lol...my dog hates them!!! what about brushing his/her teeth?

Definitely get your dog's teeth brushed.
Also what kind of dog is it? If your dog has wrinkles or is prone to tear stains that also might be a problem with breath (they will lick those areas & get a bacteria in their mouth).

Petco has these chewy nylon bones(I don't know the name). They come in blue and white and each one is a different color- peppermint, spearamint, etc. My puppy absolutely loves them. They actually do improve the doggy breathe. I noticed the othe morning that she smelled like peppermint. These bones are designed for doggy breathe and plaque.

Go to a animla hospital and have them preform a dental cleaning. I work at a hospital and they do do that hehe
