I want to tell my story about this weekend but it involves bad naming a dress shop. Am I allowed to do that?

You can, just be selective with your words

As long as what you say is true then there's no reason you wouldn't be able to. It will help other brides get better service in the future.

Re: Bad experience buying my dress
On Saturday I went to look for dresses with my mom. First, we went to Wedding Salon and I found a dress I loved, but I wanted to go to my second appointment that day at Iman. At Iman, I also saw a dress I loved and decided to put a deposit on the dress. When Ieft and was driving away I had this uneasy feeling, liking I wasnt making the right decision. This was the 7th place I had gone to look) So I went back to Wedding Salon and tried the dress on one more time. Realizing my mistake, my mom called Iman to see what she could do. She was so nice and said no problem and canceld the order. It had only been an hour later. I then bought the dress at Wedding Salon. She called back hours later and said that now there may be a problem, and penalty. I am so upset because it is not like she is losing money because my mom bought her dress there. The issue is not settled yet but I'm hoping by today. I now that I made a mistake by changing my mind, but you have to be careful when you dont have something in writing. All in all, I love the dress I got and am so happy with my decision.

There really shouldn't be a penalty charged to you because you canceled your order within a matter of hours (if that). Make sure you get as much information as you can about their 'penalty fees' and look over your order to see if there is anything that points out dress cancelations. I'm sure after a little discussion everything will be fine.
CONGRATS on finding your dress!!! Any pics??

Re: Bad experience buying my dress
how did you pay?
unless you paid in cash, you can just cancel the check or the credit card charge. You don't have anything in writing, but neither do they - they can't keep your money if they don't have it, and I highly doubt there's any legal action they can take to force you to pay them a penalty (although I'm no expert... but I can't imagine there would be).
