Bad experience today

I was at a meeting in Manhattan for work - 14 of us were going out to lunch and we got stuck in the elevator!!
It was HORRIBLE!! I couldnt breathe - we were in there for over an hour
On the other hand, i left when they rescued us so i'm home early!!

OMG!!! Sorry to hear that, but at least you are home now and safe. Elevators are the worst.
I got stuck in one for a little while once and it was the most terrible feeling ever.

thanks, i was pretty ok inside the elevator
one girl was hyperventilating and hysterically crying - i felt dizzy when we finally got out

OMG!!!! that is seriously one of my biggest fears ever!! i avoid going to an elevator alone at all costs!! at least you were not by yourself, thank goodness you are home now!

that is no fun..that happend to me when i was like 10 years old and i was alone..butyoure ok and thats all that matters

I'm so sorry to hear that!! I am soooo afraid of that happening. I used to work on the 54th floor at my last job and I got anxiety every single day going up and down!!!

oh laura that sounds so awful! My elevator at work gets stuck all the time but only for a few minutes, nothing crazy. Sorry you had to go through that!
