Bad news...

I lost my job
They couldn't afford to keep my on staff since they've been having so many budgeting issues.
They paid me for any vaca days I have left and for the rest of the month but this s*cks!

i think of that all the time.. last night FH said to me.. i cant wait till you finish school. its going to be great im going to be making some real money your going to get a great job. (FBIL works at south oaks and can get me a job for 27 an hour or if i dont take bennifites 30) so hes like if u want u dont even have to work full time u can be a part timer i dont care...anyway all i could think was.. YES MORE TIME ON HERE!!!... too bad the wedding will be over ...shuchks!

I'm so sorry you lost your job, but at least they are paying you full till the end of this month so you can concentrate on finding something new and won't have to worry about money or unemployment until then. Everyone was so willing to help me when I was looking for a job, so I would love to return the favor. If you need help with anything let me know. What field are you in and what position where you in?

i was an acct. exec @ an advertising firm. it s*cked... advertising is so glorified, so who knows what direction I'll go in. But thanks for the support Melissa!

Oh, Kim, I'm so sorry to hear that!

It sounds like it was pretty out of the blue. And during the Holiday Season too! Jerks. This is a tough time of year to look for a job, but once people get their Christmas bonuses (end of Dec.), things should start opening up. Good luck to you. And hey, now you have more time to devote to your fledgling Avon business!

aww kim I'm sorry You'll find a new and improved job in no time. On the bright side, you weren't fired and they're being as nice as can be about it.
