Bad trip to the dentist

I have been having some pain in my tooth and jaw lately. I usually go back and forth to LI for cleanings and stuff, but the pain got too unbearable today so i found a dentist... thinking it was a simple cavity, i went in feeling comfortable...

needless to say, I have a lot going on...4 cavities, my tmj which is getting worse and I MUST get a nightguard, and if that doesnt work i have to get something else, which i dont know what it is called... and i have to have surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cavities and surgery will be monday/ which means i am still in pain until then!

so sad, and in pain
i hate that word...surgery! even though it is minor, the word frightens me!

I hate surgery too. Just think about how much better it will be afterwards!!!

i'm sorry about this...
i hate the dentist and havent been in i dont know how many years, its embarrassing.
but i had a baddd experience when i was little that made me scared of doctors, any kind, even the freakin eye doctor..so i have white coat syndrome (not even joking, lol)

I feel your pain though. My sister is a dental hygenist. I FINALLY went for a cleaning after about a year, and low and behold, I had 4 cavities! and my sister told me I should get my teeth cleaned every 3 months, instead of 6 months. WELL, YEAH RIGHT! I don't mind the dentist, except for the MONEY that it costs me. I don't have dental insurance, luckily I at least get a 20% discount because of my sister.

Well all the cavities are filled, and the money is gone. Until the Next cleaning in about a year!

DH hasn't been in probably 15 years! He refuses to go.

Put it right on the tooth, you can put some on your gums around the tooth if it helps.

The cavities i can ALMOST deal with, but the surgery is freaking me out ...i know it is minor but i still am worried...BUT thankful it is not next year at this time... I WOULD BE FREAKING OUT COMPLETELY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honey, Let me tell you, I also have TMJ, I had 4 rootcanals on 2 teeth and had them both removed there was complications etc., Having a cavity filled is nothing just ask for some sweet air and get a script for vicodin
