more bad news today, the dormers they were suppose to be receiving this past thursday they dont have, and told us it will take another 2 weeks to try and retrieve it(pushing it past the contract time that they were alloted.......our atty basically advised we can get out of the deal if we want........ Im so frustrated I dont know what to do....... if we back out, then we need to find another house and the wedding is less than 2 months away..... if we dont back out then we are waiting on the sellers and are unsure if they will delay it further in the two weeks..... we basically feel like they are trying to buy time, we cant tell if they arent ready to move yet, or if they dont want to sell anymore.......either way this house is losing appeal........we liked that it would be a quick close, it was a good house when we were looking..... but now that they have delayed I have been finding better houses on the market, plus this is a small house*24 feet by 26feet, and we needed to dormer the second floor to make a 3rd bedroom... with all there delays it doesnt seem very likely that we would be able to complete the work in time......

if you are seeing things that are better for the same price i would get out of your contract but first find out if the house you get excepted on will be a quick close and that you will be able to get in before the wedding. if find something with the extra bedroom already you wont have to dormer and all you need will be cosmetic stuff that can be done pretty quickly.
I kinda know how you feel... I am going through some major houses drama myself. I would go look at some other houses. It can't hurt! Maybe you will see something even better for a quick sale! You never know!

Maybe it's best to find an apt for now and then look for a house while you're in the apt? I hope it all works out
