Bad Vendor Experience...
...Ok, so those of you on my facebook page know that I had a HORRIBLE experience at a salon this past weekend...this is the story...lol
So at TWOTY, we got a gift certificate for a free bridal hair trial from Village Salon and Spa...it expries at the end of June so I decided to go and get it done just for the heck of it (hey, maybe I might even end up liking the girl that did it...). I had an appointment for 5, but the receptionist told me I could show up at 445 and it would be better, so I did. Well, I sat waiting for the stylist until 6pm (I waited an hour and 15 minutes for her!!) so that was strike one...Then comes the styling, I wanted something similar to what i wear everyday, down with the puff thing on top....She started to use hot rollers on my hair (ummm my hair is naturally wavy, why use rollers to make it wavy??!!) but as she is doing it, she sets one roller then walks away fro 5 minutes...comes back, does another, walks away...This went on for over an hour....Then she takes the rollers out and proceeds to straighten my hair (when she just curled it??!!). She then puts sea salt in my hair to make it all textured...My hair wasnt even wavy at this point, it was flat, greasy and felt like straw...But then I tell her, what about the puff? So she does the puff but pulls it on a diagonal slant to the right of my head. It was a good idea in theory but it didnt work...the puff had another 'puff' on top of it, that when the original puff started to slide off of my head the 2nd puff (that shouldnt have been there) got bigger and looked like it was eating the other puff!!
I was so upset with the hairstyle, I went to the fron, handed my certificate, tipped the woman and left...AND SHE LET ME LEAVE THE SALON LOOKING LIKE THAT!!!!
So I go to Shawns, he comes home, I show him and he starts laughing at how horrible my hair was 'It looks like a 5 year old did it...Our dog could have done a better job' He was crying from laughing so hard!! It took me three times of washing my hair to get all the gook out that she put in it!!
Mind you, this was just my experience...Other girls may have had a great experience and booked with the place, and if your one of them, congrats there seemed like there were some really good/cool stylists there...But I just want to let everyone know, dont waste your time trying to rush there to get it done for free, it doesnt seem like the girl that does them really wants the business...If you want the stylists name just FM me...
