Baffled by my FMIL.....

My FMIL has been nothing but a PITA for all the time that I have known her, and she gets worse and worse. The women has NEVER spoken a nice word to me..no joke.....she 'compliments' me, yet somehow it is an insult...like Marie Barone from 'everybody loves Raymond'....anyhow...I came home tonight to find in my mail, a small card from her, and in it she writes ' you are a sweetheart'

At first I thought it was meant for someone else, because my name was not written in the card, but the envelope was addressed to me.....anyways, I called FH to ask her if she was ok, and he was like yeah, why? So I told him, and he was baffled!! I just found this funny, and thought I'd share. Oh well, maybe she's trying to reach out? LOL. Doubtful.

'you are a sweetheart???????????????' what is that??!! Sorry that you have to deal with her 'compliments' hopefully it will get better with time...but the random note in the mailbox?? what is with that?? maybe she stopped by to say hi or something and you werent home...idk...weird and baffling
