FH really likes the bag pipers. I really would love to do this. My wedding is 19 days away. My FBIL knows someone and he said they would do it for $150 a person.I only want to have two people. I'm waiting to get the number so I can call them.
Is $150 a good price? I would like to get cheaper if possible since I would only like them to play for a few minutes before dinner. Could someone share the bag piper company they used and how much they were?
I already bought him the B-Pics and a BeerTender so this would be in addition to those two. TIA!

My Grandfather was part of the Hynbernians so we got him through there. When I was doing the process they told me one should be enough and it was I had him outside the Church. Just remember they are loud you don't want them to over power everyone when they are walking in

I was thinking of having them at the reception hall. He said he would want it at the reception hall because more people would see it there as opposed to the church. Do you think one would be enough for the reception hall?

I did it at the Church and you might be surprised I had a packed Church! I don't know the Inn at New Hyde Park but I would go with one it should be enough because they are very loud

You should get a quote from Inis Fada Gaelic - their pipe major's email address is mconolly (at) optonline (dot) net, you can tell him I referred you. Let him know you're hoping to stay in your budget of around $100 per piper.
