Bagel and a newspaper for guests when they leave
Anyone thinking of doing this or seen it done? I want to do it, but I'm just trying to think of the logistics. Would I ask one of the waiters to hand them out as guests leave? Do we ask the valet to leave them in guests' cars?

If your wedding ends at 12/1:00.... how would you get the next day's paper already?

I once got a little bag with a bagel, mini jams and coffee/tea on the way out of a wedding. I thought it was a great idea! I kind of want to do it but the cost is adding up for favors and FMIL is giving a brunch I think.

I'd like to do something like this for our guests who are staying at the hotel because we aren't having a brunch.

I was given this once at a wedding. On our way out the door we were handed the bagels in a white bag, and a copy the Sunday paper (The wedding was Saturday night). I would think that you could get an early copy of the paper, maybe try contacting the NY Times, USA Today? They were also serving coffee as we left to go to our cars.

I was thinking of doing breakfast to go boxes. Including an Otis Spunkmeyer muffin (I feel like bagels would go stale), a mini poland spring bottle, tropicana oj, packet of tylenol and a granola bar. I was just going to go to Sam's Club.FH and my sister are giving me a hard time about it though saying it is corny.
Edited for spelling

I went to my friends wedding at the Floral Terrace and they had bagels and coffee at the end set up in the lobby. Not sure if it was through the venue or an outside vendor though.

My venue doesn't give out bagels but they set up an area on the way out where they offer either hot choc chip cookies, hot pretzels, fancy popcorns, or cinnamon nuts. We get to choose what we want the venue to offer to our guests. Guests can take it home.

My parents have been talking about this for literally years. Apparently one of my mom's cousins did this years ago and I always thought it was an awesome idea, one of the only ones I've really liked actually. But it doesn't seem practical if I'm having a brunch the following morning for those of us who are staying at the hotel and anyone else will already be home. Still love it!

Thats how I feel. I am not technically 'throwing a brunch' but will be inviting people to join us for breakfast the next day. FMIL also thinks that giving people even more food after a night of eating like crazy isn't necessary. Not knocking the idea at all but I am just not sure I can fit it into my budget with this thought in my head.
