Finally! My FH and I finally came to an agreement on going to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. We've done a lot of research into the area and know that there is a Sandals resort on Nassau along with the Hilton and some other high scale hotels.
Any of you been to the Bahamas or would recommend one of the hotels over Sandals or vice versa?
Any help would be appreciated! TIA!

I've never been, but definatly check out www.tripadvisor.com they have real photos and reviews of hotels. the sandals looks beautiful, but if I were to go, I would want to go to the out islands..

i went to breezes in april of last yr.. i dont think i would go there on my HM.. it was nice though - beach was nice, water sports, entertainment, and all inclusive..
the radisson is amazing - walked over there and my friends stayed ther eon their HM - they just dont have a big beach like the others on that strip - nice casino, pools, food..
sandals is right there too.. kind of private - couldnt see into it (fenced it) so has to be nice, right..
its all your perference though.. good luck..

I went a few years ago and stayed at the radison cable beach resort and that was awesome, casino, pools, great fod/service... loved it there is also the princess, which is really nice too.

I think you should check the weather for September in the Bahamas. As far as I know that is the start of hurricane season!!! You dont want to go during that time, if that is the case. Check it out though.. It doesn't hurt. Good luck!

ive been to nassau, paradise island & exuma. Bahamas is nice. there are other hotels on paradise island that are nice besides the atlantis

If you had to choose - would you go to the Bahamas in February or March? FH and I are trying to figure out the best time to go since we can't get out of work until after the holiday's.
