BAHAMAS!!!

Me and my FH are in the beginning of planning. We both like the bahamas and either one of us has been there. So we are planning on having our wedding their. If anyone has been their or have info can you help me? I have sent e-mails to them and no one has contacted me. I think im just going to call. Can someone help me?

Congratulations! I would go to theknot.com. they have a great destination wedding board, with lots of people who will help. we got married on st. john and they were so helpful.

I am having my wedding at Sandals Royal Bahamian on 8/8/08. We are saving about 75 % financially (in comparison to a typical LI wedding) and 60 people are booked! My travel agent raved about Sandals weddings- she said they do the best ones, and people know what they are spending when they book because it's all inclusive. Also, it's only a 2.5-3 hour flight, and a 10 min. drive from the airport, so guests can stay for 4 or 5 days and not be traveling for 2 of them. We're excited, it's going to be a five day party instead of a five hour typical reception.

Atlantis is awesome I hear, but super expensive and not fully all-inclusive. And we wouldn't have as many people attend if we went with a more pricey vacation.

Other than those 2 places, my travel agent didn't recommend any other place in the Bahamas to get married.
