Here I go again... I CANNOT make up my mind where to go on HM..so on that note.. can anyone give me info as far which area of Bahamas is nice, clean and fun and affordable. Grand Bahamas etc??...Hotel?? Thanksssss

I don't know much about the Bahamas. The only place I know if is Atlantis which looks like sooooooo much fun all the water slides and stuff.
We went to a cruise and walked around. Looks really nice.

Atlantis is great (FH's family just got back from there)...but it is a big family resort.
They have a ton of water slides, etc.
So just be warned that there will be a lot of kids (screaming, perhaps), this is not the place if you want a secluded, more adult spot.
Also, the Atlantis is crazy expensive - like $8 for a bottle of water, etc. The rooms might not be terrible, but food and stuff is.

i have been there 2 times and FILs have been there i think a total of 10 times.. they go ALL THE TIME!!! they love it there... they have been to sandals... (when i went i wasnt old enough) but they have been to all of the sandals locations and St. Lucia and Bahamas are their favorite. They are actually going in like a month... they were supposed to go back in may but he was in the hospital. so ill let you know how it is but they never have a bad thing to say about Sandals in the bahamas...
i went to Breezes and prob. would never return to that resort but i would absolutely go to sandals

Paradise Island (note, not Nassau - you fly into Nassau but you want to stay on PI). Stay at the Comfort Suites. It is directly across the street from Atlantis and you have exlusive access to the Atlantis, all of its grounds, pools, beaches and restaurants (including towel service and charging things to your room). It is cheaper than Atlantis, meanwhile the basic rooms at both look essentially the same. I did this in 2005 and am dying to do it again!

I heard about that on cruise critic. They recommended you get a room there for 1 night just to get in at Atlantis. It's so much less expensive. We didn't do it because we didn't think it was worth it for 1 day...but I want to go back sometime!!!
