JUST started looking into cakes...

Are cupcakes cheaper or more expensive than a normal cake?

How much should I expect to spend on each cupcake?

I want to create something like this. I guess they are mini cakes vs cupcakes. I thought they were really pretty.

im normally not a fan of the cupcake wedding cake thing, but those are GORGEOUS!! theyre beautiful and serve a purpose as a favor as well...i say go for it..did u try sweet things in oceanside? or riesterers in west hempstead and garden city?
lemme know!! im dying to see a pic of those in real life lol

I'm going to check out bakeries this weekend.

Any suggestions?

I'd like very pretty cakes that won't empty our pockets TOO much.

I'd prefer to pay $5-7 per cupcake.
