I want to order a Yankee cake for our RD...can someone recommend a place where they can make it. I'm thinking the Yankee Jersey with either cap or bat on the side, anyone have a pic too...lol

Don't know if there's one in forest hills that will do that. You can give Martha's Bakery a try, since they take orders.

There is a Jay Dee bakery on Queens Blvd - around Queens and 67th Road I want to say.
Never ate anything from there but the stuff in the window looks YUMMY

in chacha's review she posted about a bakery on Ascan Ave in forest hills. BONELLE PASTRY SHOP. She had her grooms cake made there.

Some RH's in LI use terrizzi bakery in astoria to get their cakes from...last time i walked by there they had a cake in the window that was a yankee jersey.
Theres also a place in sunnyside, this guy makes AMAZING fondant cakes, ill have to get the info for you again...when i was looking last year somebody sent me there...the fondant cakes here are a little pricey though

Martha's Bakery - is that the one in Astoria? I loveeeeeeeee that place! My friend always gets me cupcakes from there. I love going there, everything smells great and it's the cutest place ever. I'd recommend checking them out too.
