Just curious to know whether or not there are any brides out there that paid their photographer in full before the wedding.
I thought the 'norm' out there was that 3/4 was due before the wedding, and the remaining 1/4 was paid upon receipt of proofs...

We have paid everything except 10% which is due when we pick up the album.

We paid most of it and when it was time to pick up the proofs we paid off the remaining balance which was about $450

We actually paid ours in full before the wedding. He had done an engagement session with us, and we had seen the pics and the proofs from that session, so we were comfortable doing that because we trusted him.

We paid 1/3 at the time of booking. We need to pay another 1/3 30 days prior. The final 1/3 upon receipt of proofs.

We have a bal. of $800 due AFTER the wedding. $400 when we pick up proofs and $400 when we pick up Albums and video.

Our payment schedule is set up with both the photographer and the videographer that final payment is due upon receipt of the final product.

do not pay before the ceremony. I have heard too many horror stories of people never getting their proofs.

Nope---we had our last payment this week with everything being done (all albums and video-can't wait til we receive them in VA where we are)....and don't forget the tax--that all came at the end (at least for us).

we left a $500 deposit and then everything is due 1 month before the wedding except for $250 which is due upon pick up of the proofs.
