Ballet slipper or heels

Curious as to what everyone else is doing. IM not sure if i want heels or ballet slippers. I am not one that wears heels often and i feel as if my dress wont feel complete without heels. but i also want to look and feel great... and walk correctly. So many decisions. any thoughts?

I am using heels. I am used to walking in them and also I couldn't switch cause otherwise my dress would be dragging on the ground.

My whole wedding/rception will be on grass so heels wouldn't work...but FH is 6'4' & I am only 5'...so i found a great wedge heel to give me height plus they are soooo comfortable!

that is such a perfect solution.... (disclaimer: I'm quite partial to flip flops )

I'm tall as it is. If I get too high of a heel I'll be taller than my FH. I'll probably do a small one and then switch to slippers.

i'm wearing heels. 3' ones to be exact. just pray i don't break an ankle. eh, i just found these shoes i fell in love with. unfortunately i may not be able to wear them b/c they're a bit too dark for my dress. =0( but i already did a hollow-to-hem measurement so i'm stuck with 3' (hell, if the ones i have don't work, i'm buying green ones, my original plan). not too big a deal though b/c i'm changing into green platform sneakers once we get to the rh. =0)

im doing ballet slippers. my fh and i are the same height. and anyway they are soooo comfortable. i was the same way i thought i should get another pair also but i decided not too.

Definitely do heels for your grand entrance. You walk with more grace then you will in a flat shoe. And I don't know if flip flops are the best idea for the grand entrance either...that flip flopping squishy sound may not complement Here Comes the Bride!

Hells for the start and end up with slippers.
My daughter wedding dress is the same as your #1, she loved it. The only thin I had them do is put snaps on both the left & right side at the top SO it wouldn't slip. It worked out great the dress stayed put and looked perfect in every pic.

I wore ballet slippers, but I will say that no matter what type of shoe you wear your feet will be killing you by the end of the night. My shoes were very comfortable but my feet were still very unhappy from all the dancing and standing all day.
