Balloon Centerpieces
I am looking to do this for our e-party. I want it to be more festive, fun and not so formal. My question is does anyone know where I can look into getting balloon centerpieces. I also want to do an arch for our table. I don't want to spend a lot of money on them either. So if we have to do it ourselves it won't be such a big deal. Anyone been to an event that had this as a centerpiece and if so, what was the anchor? I need ideas on that too! Thanks in advance

The anchor for the centerpieces is something I need ideas on. The arch I definitely want to do. I have been meaning to stop by Party City. Thanks for reminding me!!

Re: Balloon Centerpieces
Yes, Party city carries balloon anchors in all sorts of colors. But you can get creative if you want.At my shower, my MOH tied down all the red balloons using baggies of peppermint candies. That was a cheaper option than buying the weights and cuter too (IMO)

my sister worked at a party place when she was younger and she would wrap rocks in cellophane paper and use that as an anchor too.. I really like the candy idea!

Re: Balloon Centerpieces
SonicStef's MOH used peppermint candy (red and white kind) wrapped in the little cello bags to hold down the balloons. It was very cute and very inexpensive. Plus everyone got some candy.

I like the candy idea for the anchor-thanks girls!!But I just looked at the post that MarcellaBella wrote on the fish bowl and I love the centerpiece attachment that was placed in the thread. So now I am lost!!! I am torn between the two centerpiece ideas.
What do you think is better the fish bowl with floating roses or balloons?

If you're thinking about doing the floating roses and you're not hiring a florist...definitely check out Costco's roses!!! They usually sell 2 dozen for under $20 and they're beautiful. I've been to a few family and friend's homes where they had a bouquet of roses out and when I questioned where they got them, the answer was always 'Costco.'Welcome New Vendors
