Has anyone taken them? If so, where did you go? Did you have to pay for a package (like Arthur Murray) or did you pay by class?
Did you have them choreograph a dance for you for your first dance?

Re: Ballroom Dancing Lessons...
We went to Arthur Murry and just took a few lessons to learn the dance moves.

Re: Ballroom Dancing Lessons...
I took ballroom lessons in college and loved it! I would love to do this with my FH! How many classes was it and how much did it cost? Thanks!

DLWDLG...they didn't require you to buy a package? We took their free lesson (had a blast!) a few years ago and when we inquired about lessons, there were various packages you could buy - but you couldn't just pay as you go.

Re: Ballroom Dancing Lessons...
We live in the City and so there are so many dance studios to take lessons at. We took several introductory classes at different studios to see which one we liked better. We ended up doing both group lessons (where we learned several ballroom dances, salsa and swing) along with private lessons (where we worked on our choreographed first dance).
It's fun and great if you FH is into it.

My FH is totally into it...problem is, I can't stop myself from leading! (16 years of ballet will do that to you, I guess.)
