So FH and I had our last dance lesson last night to prepare us for our first waltz... not sure why I didn't think of this before, but how the heck is he going to get around me without stepping on my dress (for like outside turns and what not)?
Any tips?

we didnt do a waltz, but we did a the Foxy- a mix of fox trot and something else- we bustled my dress before the dance and had no problems have fun

Ok thanks! I'm just paranoid that FH is going to step on my dres sand I will fall on my butt or my dress will rip

why don't you try it wearing your slip - at least it will give you a good idea. You two could have a 'dress rehearsal' just with out the actual dress!

That would be a good idea but I don't have a slip...my dress has one built in... I guess FH and I will have to slip away sometime at the wedding and have a trial and figure out what moves we can and can't do...

We had our first dance choreographed and we were worried that he would step on my dress but it really was not a problem at all. I bustled my train before hand and my dress didn't drag on the floor so It was no problem at all. You'll be fine. Don't be nervous and GOOD LUCK!!!
