i think sometimes you just shouldnt mess with perfection. i think to re make a song using people like the british american idol to re do a song that was originally done by ultra vox and paul young is so terrible. i think they should have had the original line up back and updated it perhaps adding a few new people like robbie williams into the mix. i like the old one better

Yes! And with lots of artists I've never heard of!
They're mostly young just starting out English artists - The Sugababes, Will Young, Jamelia, Joss Stone, Katie Melua, Natasha Bedingfield....the most well-known people on there are Robbie Williams and Dido...No one remotely on the scale of what U2, Boy George, George Michael or Sting were in the 80's...it's very sad!!!

I listen to 106.7 like a fiend once the non-stop holiday misic starts - and I've heard the original about 20 times now. It's delightfully cheesy, considering it WAS an 80's song - but wasn't ONE verson of this song enough? I didn't even know there was a remake, I thought this was a spoof when I saw this album cover!!
