Does anyone know of or attended a wedding where there was a band and DJ?
FH and I would like a band for the beginning of the reception to do the first/parent dances and to sing some motownish songs for our parents. Then we would love a DJ after that for us and our friends.
No idea if it's even possible to do that but wanted to see if any of you girls have seen or heard of this before...

I know with Russo's perferred vendor for music , you can hire the band/DJ combo.. but it's expensive!

Ahh I was just at giorgios for a showcase and they had this band who does a lot of motown songs and they also come with a dj!! I completely forgot their name but they were really good! Thy come as a packaged deal with themselves and a dj. I have to find the info and ill get back to you!

I think my parents have the sheet from them bc my dad loved them lol. I wanna say they were around 6000 for the band and dj. I will see if my parents still have the info!

I like the idea but it will be $$$$. My plan is to get the DJ and have the drummer and maybe sax. My FH is in a band and were thinking about having them play a few songs too.
