band (as in music lol) help!

OK ladies I need advice. I am having a small wedding out east and I am trying to find a small band (6+ pieces would probably be too big considering the size of the wedding; 5 would be ideal but I'm not too picky at this point). I really like energy express and I wanted them but they are booked for my date. A lot of the 'well known' bands are just too large. I don't know what to do! I left a VM for Stan Wiest tonight but I haven't heard back from him. ANY suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

I am sad I've always wanted a band and this is not turning out to be good. I can't believe it's this hard to find a smaller-sized band!

my band is after hours orchestra...i believe you can pick however many pieces you want. i think the website is afterhoursent.com - check them out!!!

I'm using skyline orchestra and I think you can pick how many pieces you want... there prices were pretty good too

Try.. After Hours Orchestra..The owner is great to deal with and offers smaller bands at a fair price.

We used Soul Revival and I know that they can go as small as 5 pieces. Soul Revival website I would call them, they were amazing at our wedding. Good luck!!!

I'm using The Projekt for my wedding, and they are absolutely fabulous! I think you can get anywhere from a 5-11 piece band, so definately contact them! They are a vendor on LI Weddings!

Thanks everyone. I tried Skyline already and ALL of their band were booked for my date. The woman also said that she was going to check with Renegade for me for my date (maybe the are connected somehow???) and that she would get back to me if they were available. Well, she hasn't gotten back to me, so I assume they are taken too.

Am I THAT late? My wedding is still more than 9 months away. I mean, I only booked the RH like a month ago, so I couldn't book the band much sooner!!!

So, today I spoke to Stan Wiest and made an appointment to have the band play for me and FH in a few days. I think I will call After Hours tomorrow.

They were amazing at my wedding and they work with you as to the size of a band you need. The price is VERY reasonable and the talent the band has is expectional. FM if you need info

i'm using times square orchestra too-- but i believe they're 9 pieces always....but it wont hurt to ask bc they're fabulous!!!

Good Clean Fun is amazing, and affordable, and they can be anywhere from a 3 piece band to an 8 or 9 piece i believe.
i am hiring them as a 6 piece band.

definitely check them out.
