OK ladies I need advice. I am having a small wedding out east and I am trying to find a small band (6+ pieces would probably be too big considering the size of the wedding; 5 would be ideal but I'm not too picky at this point). I really like energy express and I wanted them but they are booked for my date. A lot of the 'well known' bands are just too large. I don't know what to do! I left a VM for Stan Wiest tonight but I haven't heard back from him. ANY suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
I am sad I've always wanted a band and this is not turning out to be good. I can't believe it's this hard to find a smaller-sized band!

I checked out The Touch and they were awesome. However, their website has a little calendar that says when they are already booked, and of course they are taken already for my date. (But it's very nice of them to put their schedule on the site rather than making you call and get disappointed!)
Renegade and Arcadia are both booked for my day already, as are all Skyline bands. Times Square Orchestra is unfortunately too big. Franklin Wayne had two bands available for my date but one was 8 members and the other was 9 (I forgot their names). Tooooo big.
I am really in jam here. I have heard mixed reviews on Stan Wiest, but I will keep my appointment and at least give them a chance.
Does anyone have any experience with Stan Weist's bands?
I really don't have the time/energy for this anymore - shoud I just book a DJ and be done with it? I keep getting disappointed when I call places and find out they are not available

I'm using skyline orchestra and I think you can pick how many pieces you want... there prices were pretty good too
Yeah, I think they go anywhere from a 3 piece to a 9 piece. They have a few bands under the same management. Which one are you using?

Pete!!!!!!!!!!!! Known him for years. Used to go see him play with another band. He's such a doll! My fiance and i met at the bar they were playing at.

He really is! He's so good to my kid that I bring to work there. Other places tend to explout disabled kids but Pete is so good to him!
