Band booked! Should I start working on my song list?

I think you should just call them and ask. Your wedding is almost a year away, I would think you could make that one change since it's an extra you added on. The band leader seemed very easy to talk to and very flexible when we spoke with him.

If you can't take her off the contract, don't stress over it! We heard her at a showcase and also thought she was great. As far as a fit, I got the impression she did specific songs as a soloist. They are a very popular band so I'm sure they know what that they are doing.
