I got quoted for a 6 piece band for 5300. It was actually through a friend i trust but i think it still might be too hight. It covers keyboard for the ceremony and cocktail. What do you think, am i paying too much?

The price sounds pretty standard. Bands cost a lot!
yeah, i paid more and i had a 7 piece. thats what they are.
Mine was $8,500 for 8 ppl, it includes the cocktail hour, but not the ceremony, so your price sounds very reasonable.

That sound about right, I paid about 5500 for a 7 piece band with keyboard during the cocktail hour.
that's a good price for a band! DJs are much cheaper since you're only paying for 1 person... whereas a band needs to pay 6-10 people
