I was 100% into booking with a DJ until we went to a bridal showcase recently and fell in love with a band. However, when I called they said they would not fit in my RH room :( We are booked for Fox Hollow in the Briar Fox room and a 9-piece band would have trouble fitting with the tables. I am upset to hear this and it makes me think maybe we should have booked the bigger room. They gave us a referral for a 6-piece band but I need your help! Any recommendations for smaller bands that still have a big sound that plays current music and sounds just like the singers on the radio? Or recommend some awesome DJs please!!

I would check out Fusion DL. They are a dj hybrid with live musicians. My cousin and good friend used them and some people thought they were a band! They were amazing. I will be using them also.

Call Code Bleu too - they come standard with 8 pieces, but they may be able to cut down to 5 or 6. Their number is (631) 277-7777. I absolutely love them and booked them on the spot!
I also saw Full House who were good (though not as good as Code Bleu) and I think they came standard with 6 or 7.

I am getting married there too and my band said they will fit, depending on how many people you are having just don't put a table directly in front of the band space.
We r using peat moss and the fertilizers, they are only 5 peices....they dont sound exactly like the orginal but it doest sound bad bc they put their own spin on the song, thats what i like about them

Thanks girls! We ended up choosing Infinity (a new Franklin Wayne band). We were very happy with their sound and songs and they are a smaller band (5 pieces and each person in the band sings!) Hopefully this thread will be helpful to other brides out there! Thanks for the help!

regarding Fusion DL
they just did my sister's wedding last fall, and we've seen them at a few other weddings. we are planning on using Fusion DL. its the best of both a dj and live music.
if you want a really unique and energizing entertainment, go with Fusion DL. no doubt it will be an awesome event, and everyone will be on the dance floor!
ask for manny or john - they are both great and easy to talk to. they have been doing this for years and know how to entertain!

A few years ago I heard a band called The ZOO...amazing..their lead singer had one heck of a voice
If I'm not mistaken I think a 10 bride had them at her wedding
