so my FH and i bought our bands and I'm holding them at my house for us... mine is a thin diamond eternity band and can't be engraved, but I know my FH wanted to do that initially and let it go when I picked mine and we found out we couldn't do it (i didn't want mine engraved anyway).. I thought it would be a nice touch to get his engraved as a surprise, but idk what to write...
you could write something in it thats just between the two of you? like FH and I always say silly little things to one up each other after saying 'i love you' ... Like... 'I love you TyranoMOREous Rex'. (yeah. we're really lame. lol)
