Does every jeweler do this? Should FH and I bring our rings back to where we purchased them and ask for them to be engraved? Can we bring it elsewhere? How much does this cost?

We actually just brought ours to the jeweler where we purchased them to have them engraved... He said it costs $25 - $30 to engrave but wasn't charging us. I would assume that all jewelers either can engrave or send them out. He's sending ours out..... Hope this helps.

Same here. But I would have to imagine that the price would depend upon how many characters you want engraved into the rings.

I had to pay extra bc I needed to have it hand engraved bc I have a small ring size and I couldnt fit my DH's name and our wedding date if it was the normal engraving....so this hand engraving in script cost more... I wanna say $45-50? I dont remember bc since I had mine hand engraved I wanted Dh's hand engraved as well lol

I just did my FH ring as a surprise at Michael C Fina (where we bought the ring.
It cost about $45 for:

the plae where we bought our rings engraved fh's..i know he charged but no sure how much but dont think it was expensive

Thanks ladies. We are getting my band appraised on Saturday so I think afterward we will pop by the jeweler who sold us our rings and see what she says. Unfortunately it has never occurred to us to ask her while we were THERE.

I had my husbands band engraved and it was hand engraved, they didnt charge me per character or anything. It was $25 for the hand engraving. And it was the same place he got my ring and we got our bands.
