I found a band I really like and went to see them in NYC. Another bride to be was there and said that they have different names that they go by. I didn't really know what she was talking about, but I just looked it up and the same band goes by two different names! Is this weird? Or am I just being paranoid??

Is one of them the name of their club band? Sometimes bands have a name they use for weddings and parties and book club jobs under a different name.
My FH is in a wedding band and they do a side project (a Buffett tribute band, lol) during the summer and use a different name, even though it is the same people as the wedding band.

I'm not sure- they both looked like parties in the videos but I guess one could've been a party and one could've been a wedding! I was just getting nervous on why they would do this.... thanks for letting me know that other bands do this! I feel better now
