Band Recommendations

I prefer a band vs. a DJ, but a DJ may be more in my budget. Can anyone recommend a great band that's reasonably priced? (Please include an estimated price if you have).

We are looking for a 'fun' band. Our friends and family love to party and dance. I'm not sure what bands go for so I'm not sure what's high vs. low - we are having a Saturday 1-6 wedding - does day vs. night affect price? Any advice would be appreciated!!!

I would recommend Times Square Orchestra (TSO They are in the mid 5K - They have great energy and are amazing

Same here....we're using Times Square Orchestras- Caren Coles Band.

But band prices vary depending on the number of members in the band.

If they end up being alittle steep, here are a few as well that I had seen.

The East Coast band.

Fred is the lead singer and is VERY fun. I saw them play at a bar/restaurant before we booked them and my FI and I thought they were AWESOME, especially Fred. And, they were willing to work within my budget. My budget was so low that one other band simply stated, 'we can't work with that'...

International Superstars 917-620-0114. They were awesome and had our party up and dancing the whole night!!!!

I used Full House. You can listen to audio clips on their website They also play at alot of clubs and bars around here, so they really know how to get people up and dancing. They were $5500 which was pretty reasonable compared to other I saw.

I second that....plan to use Peter Greco at mine too...they are great...saw them at a friends wedding and had a lot of fun! You can have 5,6,7,8,or9 pieces and adjust the price that way. I think he starts about 5K.

I used Soular Rhythm for my 9/20 wedding (also a 1-6 day wedding). They did a great job!!!

Very versatile band -- from Caribbean, R & B, Pop and Jazz, we also used them for a steel pan drums for the cocktail hour.

Heart and SOul from Franklin Wayne bands is AWESOME!!! As a matter of fact, ALL of Franklin Waynes bands are great!

we booked code bleu. we heard great reviews of them and heard them once and fell in love with them. they are amazing and werent too expensive compared to other bands
