band showcases?

those of you who have or are using bands, have you been to a band showcase?
im going to one next week at westbury manor, just curious what to expect! any tips on what its like? is it just one band that plays? is there food or anything like that?? help!!

sometimes its 1 band sometimes its a few! usually at band showcases it the band that sponsers it and bridal showcases the hall does so their may be 1 band and 1 dj

well thats what ive seen

theres usually drinks (soft drinks)
sometimes theres lil apps nothing much!

they sing a set and at the end they will sit w/ you to answer any ? u may have!


what band are u goin to see??

No food, you just go there, you sign your name in, they check your date for availability...you sit in chairs that are set up, and they do a set of different styles of music for you to listen to their range, and what they play. You get to hear their voices, and if you like them, you can sign them, or take the contract home, and usually have 1 week to book them. They will usually hold your band for your date for 1 week.

Is this Franklin Wayne?? They are good, I used Daybreak's night...we liked them the best out of the Franklin Wayne bands.

im looking for preferably one company that can offer me a reception band, ceremony music, and a reggae band for cocktail hour. i dliek to work with just one company if possible but would break into two if i found a great reggae band on its own..

code bleu is a good choice as well never saw them live but anyone who has seen them loved them!!
