What band does everyone recommend and do you recommend any specific people. Thanks.

I booked Times Square Orchestra and they are terrific!! They play many different genres and Joe (the bandleader) has been a pleasure to deal with. They advertise on this site so give him or a call or email. He responds quickly. Good luck!

I am using Rhapsody from Skyline Orchestras (www.skylineorchestras.com)... They have 4 bands that they feature... I've heard three and liked them all! Rhapsody was more my style though... They have showcases all the time! I'd check one out! Their prices are pretty reasonable too! I spoke with Marisa there. She was very helpful!

My band was Timepiece and they were good.

But the best band I ever heard was New York City Swing...they must have been really expensive but they were A MAZ ing!

We used Full House, and got rave reviews all night. They advertise on this site as well. www.fullhousemusic.com They were great and very easy to work with. They have music samples on their sit ethat you can listen to.

We are using A. Stan Wiest. He has been a tremendous help to me during the planning phase and has helped me with every aspect of the wedding planning.

We're using Primetime Live from LI Paramount - they are great! 9 or 10 pieces depending on your budget. 4 piece brass section, great vocals. . .

I'm using Full House, too. I have only seen them at thier Showcase, but they sounded great. I went to see a lot bands and it was a tough choice between them and my second choice which was the Times Square Orchestra.

We are using Renegade from LI Paramount. We heard them play at a wedding they are phenominal. You won't be disappointed.

I recommend Chaser. I am biased though because I grew up with them, and my mom was their lead singer up until last year ;-) They really are excellent, and professional. I dont know the URL off the top of my head, but they are advertised in the LIWeddings magazine. If you want to know more let me know, i can get any info you want.

What I like best about them (except for the fact that I know they changed my diapers LOL) is that they are not ONLY a wedding band. They still do club gigs in the long island/manhattan area. So, they stay 'with it'. Anyway, like I said, let me know if you want contact info. It is easy to go see them live cause they play club gigs ;-)
