Anyone know a good band that could play standards and motown? How much do bands typically cost? Our wedding is in Stony Brook/Setauket. Thanks!

they are more $$ but well worth it my sister had them and no band can compare to them...one of the main singers was in the commadors really amazing....i have NEVER heard a band like them ever
another good band is voices that is angelo venutos band...

We had The Touch and they were absolutely AWESOME!!! People still talk about them!
There was a time that I had to convince my brother that the band was actually playing that song and they were not on a break with a cd in!!!
Check out their schedule, they still do some bar gigs so you can check them out. They also have video clips on the website!

Platinum played our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. Everyone is still raving about them. We paid $5,000 for a 9 piece band.

They are based out of NJ, but do weddings on LI. Angel (band leader) is fantastic to deal with. They play all the standards and motown -- their motown songs were amazing.

I am using Soul Revival band. FH and I saw them at a friends wedding and loved them. We had the best time dancing at their wedding and booked them almost immediately. Their website is www.soulrevivalband.com HTH!!!

Franklin Wayne Music has a great selection of bands. I'm having Daybreak's Night (FH and I LOVE them), but Heart and Soul does great Motown. They are an 8 piece band.
