Bands

So I went to the showcase last night and heard Heart and Soul perform! I thought that they were great! I was wondering if anyone has booked them and how much they were qouted...........
Any other bands that are out there that are NOT expensive, what is the cheapest that you all have seen? How many ppl?

ITA!!! I loved the band from yesterday. They quoted $6500 for 4 hours plus piano player for 1 hour for cocktail hour. Then it's $700 for each additional hour.

we had RENEGADE and they were fabulous...8 piece band and they seem to be flexible with prices if you talk to Dave. We had a winter wedding and paid $6. this also included the piano player for the cocktail hour

We booked with Code Bleu. They're amazing and not overly expensive. Just over $7K for 9 pieces, 4 hour reception, and either a pianist or guitarist for CH.

They are actually having a concert at Overlook Beach in Babylon on Friday the 24th!

If you have you heart set on a band you saw and love don't let price sway your decision. You can always cut back on something else. Remember good music makes the party. The best times I've had at a wedding was always because the music was fantastic.
