bands - help please!

Hi all. I'm starting my search for a band, but my biggest issue is that nobody posts prices anywhere! They want you to come in to get prices, but I have a very limited amount of time to go meet people. So I would really appreciate it if folks wouldn't mind sharing what band they are using for their reception, and what price they are getting... Please post or FM! Thanks

I used Renegade--they are amazing...the dance floor was packed all night & they sounded exactly like every band they played. They were $6200 for the reception only but I know people who got htem for $6200 for both cocktail hour & reception. Dave the leader is the owner their website is liparamount.com. You can listen to some of their songs on there.

Best money we spent on our wedding!

yep, second that!! we are using heart & soul for $6400 and my sister (2006 bride, we are 07) is paying $6200 for vision-- both amazing bands!!

Thanks ladies! I'm definitely checking out Franklin Wayne, they're one of the few recommended bands at my hall (so I get a discount on their meals )

I looove my band Soul Revival , so far they are the only vendor I have booked besides my hall and I am very happy!!! They were very reasonably priced between $5000-6000, and willing to work within our budget. They are a vendor on here, www.soulrevivalband.com

They are playing at Mulcahys this Saturday from 3-8 for a benefit. Check them out, they are great!

We're using Hot Pursuit. They have showcases every month. I think the next one might be April 10th. www.hotpursuitmusic.net

BTW...Renegade did our holiday party for work. They are great too. They were already booked for our date, so that's when we started looking at other bands.

Hi!
If you are going to look into Franklin Wayne def check out Heart and Soul. I saw them at a friends wedding last year. They cost her around 6,500K.

I booked MGM. They are HUGE with Italian weddings and had my heart set on them. They are on the pricey side at $7500.

Arcadia is also very good, they are with Paramount Productions and can be found on the LIW site. They quoted me $7000.
