Bands-question--please take my poll

How many bands did you see before booking... did you go with the first one you saw?

We booked the Naked Truth because the guy who runs it is a close family friend and my high school music teacher. We didnt shop around for bands at all...but we did hear a great band at a Giorgios Bridal expo..I have to see if I can find their name. They were awesome

we saw 3. it was a no-brainer once we saw times square orchestra.

what i did do though was right down all my first impressions, as well as details of the band such as how many people, their appearance, instruments used, etc. that helped me keep everything straight and organized and would have been very helpful if we had continued to look at bands.

Hi!

I saw Dash of Class at a bridal expo and new they were it! I booked them in Feb and even over the weekend I heard great compliments about their work from a friend who is a DJ himself!!!

We saw:

Arcadia
Heart and Soul
Code Bleu
Renegade

Then we had it narrowed down to Heart and Soul and Arcadia so we saw each of them again, and finally decided on Arcadia! The process took FOREVER, but worth it in the end

Saw 8 bands..that was nuts! Thrilled at our choice, it was worth it.

Bands seen:

JR Entertainment- heard them at a party and they were fabulous, got their cd/dvd showed to people, some liked, some didnt

Heart and Soul- LOVE THEM and WENT WITH THEM

Daybreak's Night- I liked them a lot too- but I liked Heart and SOul more-

BodyHeat- Got their CD- They were good, not what we were looking for

We saw about 9 I think...we wanted to make sure we saw lots of options, b/c music is very important to us...we ultimately ended up booking the first band we saw, go figure.

We looked at 3, but ended up going with the one we thought we would anyway. We saw Soul Revival at a friends wedding last summer and loved them. (They are a vendor on here now ) BUt I think we just wanted to check around to make sure. We shouldn't have even bothered to look, b/c they were by far the best.

Went with the first one we saw in person, but I watched about 4 DVD's from bands that they sent us.

I listend to several online and I saw Hot Pursuit live. I love that they have four singers - they harmonize so well and they can cover lots of different genres.
