this might be a weird question but did you request a specific bm or did you just end up working with the default person they had available? i only ask because my hall has about 3 bm's and there is one that me and fh specifically like. is it normal to go to my rh and say 'we want you as our bm the day of our wedding'?

our hall just told us so & so will be your BM.
i don't think it would hurt to request someone.

We were given a BM by the hall and we like him so we wouldn't want anyone else on the day of our wedding. However, if we didn't like him or liked someone else better I would definitely talk to the hall and make a request. You are paying them tens of thousands of dollars and that is a pretty simple request. Def do it!

You can totally request a specific Banquet Manager, it's your day and you want someone you're going to feel comfortable with. The sooner the better so they can schedule that person for your night just in case they aren't scheduled to work.

We have ours b/c she happened to be available when we showed up. We're happy with her though.

I am getting married at JT and when I first called just to get prices I spoke to Anthony. He was so helpful that I did request him when it was time to go inn person. I am very happy with our choice. Hes awesome!
