2011 crashing. I lived in Barbados for 2 years and the place is beautiful. You just have to know what parts of the island are really touristy and which part is mostly locals. St James where Sandy Lane is, is spectacular. St. Lawrence gap........I could go on and on. Beautiful island. I have been there as a tourist and a local. My fh is from Barbados.

I dont think Trinidad is really appropriate for a Honeymoon, I mean unless you go to Tobago which is really nice but you may be better off in another area of the caribbean. There's also a lot of crime going on in these areas right now and while you will be safe in the tourist area, I still think you would have a better time elsewhere... (I am from Trinidad)

out of those islands i have only been to barbados because we stopped there on a cruise. we didnt have a great experience only because one of the locals literally followed us and was harassing us to buy ' homeade aloe vera ' and we wouldnt buy it. we finally got away and then he appeared on the beach we were at. it just seemed like a lot of locals were bothering us to buy jewelry and other things while we were trying to relax on the beach, it was really annoying. but maybe it wouldnt be like that at a resort ?? jmo.

I'm from Trinidad and I also agree with this. I mean Tobago is nice and there are some very nice places in Trinidad but I would say honeymoon elsewhere.

Take a Cruise! FH and I just booked a HOlland America Cruise for ten days, St. Martin, Martinique, St. Lucia (2 places), Barbados, Bahamas. Then you can see them all if you want or just stay on the ship if you want.
