My sis and I each bought the BE starter kit + concealer this weekend. However, I didn't open it yet and I'm having slight buyers remorse.
The girl at the BE store did my makeup and my sis thought it looked amazing -- it did look very natural but if I looked very close I could still see it on my face. I'm not used to wearing lots of makeup and I have dry skin. I've always worn very sheer liquid makeup if any.
Have any of you used BE on dry skin? The salesgirl told me it works pefectly on every skin type but I find that hard to believe. I googled some reviews and they are mixed for dry skin. I'm afraid to open the package and my sis already went back to college so I can't try hers again.

i have mixed ....so this prob isnt helful , but i love this product
i was hesitant because it was a lot of money but i really like ...i never feel like i have makeup on

I just bought bare minerals a coulpe of weeks ago, i really like it, the starter kit comes with a minerals lotion you put on before hand, it help moisturize. i like it! GL!

i have dry skin around my nose and my forehead - BE accentuated the dry spots and then i got a really horrendous rash from it i did like the way my skin looked when i used it - it was better than other make up ive tried but after 2 or 3 days of using it i broke out in a bad rash and my skin was SUPER dry for awhile afterwards....i have very sensitive skin though....

I have dry skin but, if you use the moisterizer that they give in the kit I use more than one drop. They say to only use one drop but, I go pretty generous with it. Because I have dry skin.

i have dry patched on the sides of my nose and between my eyebrows (werid i know! lol) what i do is use loition not even a moisturizer just dry skin lotion then apply the lotion they provide. i don`t have problems with it at all. i actualy love it i don`t feel like i have makeup on at all and it looks natural!!

I have dry skin and use Philosophy hope in a jar - it's very light and gets sukked right into my skin.
I also use BE and MUST use a moisturizing lotion before application.

I have extremely dry skin. I use BE right after I use my moisturizer. I haven't used their foundations or anything though I want to get the kit. I just find that the blush and the eyeshadows offer really great coverage and don't make me look pasty. I would definitely try it. You might really love it.

I have pretty dry skin myself and I find it very difficult to make it look good on my face. HTH

i love BE. I have combination/normal skin; dry in some spots. i think if you use really good moisturizer it should still look good on you. I love that it never cakes, is really light and I don't feel it.
if it looked good in the store what is your worry? I think the moisturizer is important...

I have dry patches/skin as well. I have been using BE for about 2 years now. I have found that by using a moisturizer other than BE, like Oil of Olay will help my dry skin out much more than by using the bare essentials moisturizer .

I only use BE in the summer since my skin gets dry in the winters. but if your skin gets flaky, the powder sticks to it and you can totally see it.

I just use the moisturizer that goes with it...in the winter and summer i have super dry skin and i havent had any problems with it yet
