Bare Escentuals

Original post by Mrs. dleeny

does anyone use this makeup?

I just bought a starter kit at Ulta that has just the face powders and the mineral veil and I am SO impressed. you only need to use a tiny bit to get a flawless soft look.

Just wondering if anyone else uses this stuff and what you think about it.

Do you have the concealer? Can I ask you a question...would you mind looking at the ingredients and telling me if it contains lanolin? I'm allergic to lanolin and my face blows up if I wear products containing it Thanks!

Awesome, thanks! So would I just need to buy the concealer alone, or is there something to go underneath it?

you can buy that alone, maybe with an applicator brush. it is loose powder (minerals). I've used it with the foundation underneath for an even look.

I do have this stuff and very much love it. I remember when the info-mercial had me hooked....

I dont use it all over my face, just a few spots here and there that need some touch ups.......

I bought this stuff so long ago, and I still have so much left. This stuff is GREAT -- a little goes a very long way.

If it's a powder, how do you keep it from looking cakey?

I have never seen stuff like this before. that is why I posted about it. it is awesome! it's mineral makeup, 100% natural.

you should go to Ulta or Sephora and have someone put it on for you and see if you like it.

I usually buy Sephora online. They will let you try some on? Cool! Maybe I'll try it this weekend if I go Christmas shopping at a mall with a Sephora.

I LOVE IT and have gotten so many compliments on my skin. I wish I had started using it sooner!

I dont really consider it a powder........thats how fine and lightweight it is.

That is the reason it doesnt create a cakey look.....unless you use a HUGE glob of it in one spot.......then of course it will, just like anything else.

Since I started using Bare Escentuals, my skin breaks out less and is much smoother. I love this stuff!!
