Really? well your makeup looked great! Ive been thinking about it for a while. im tired of using liquid foundation to even out my skin color and cover up imperfections. I just dont want to spend the money if its not going to be good. I think its expensive.
I will def let you know how it is if i get it.
I went to Ulta today to see if they had it but the one in Merrick closed! I knew sophora had it but its a pain to go to the Roosevelt Field mall!

I LOVE Bare Minerals. I wear it everyday. It doesn't make you break out which is a major plus. It is a little expensive but definitely worth every penny.

My mom is going to try it soon. But I heard it is great. I will let you know how it goes if she uses it before you.

I wear it! I love it!! expecially in the summer time when you get all greasy looking...it works awesome! I bought the kit from Bare Minerals themselves...for $75 you get 3 brushes, vitamin lotion, clear radiance (which I am addicted too) fair foundation, very fair foundation and something else...which I dont really use too often...I love it though!!!
they also have really great eyeshadows

Re: bare minerals?
Also if you go to another Ulta they can do a trial on you for free to see if you like or not. That's what they did for me.

Re: bare minerals?
I use it!! I have the most sensitive skin ever, and its great. I really can't say enough! At first I was really skeptical b/c I really didnt see how a powder could cover the same as a liquid, but my mom was the guinea pig - she went and bought it and it works great. The only thing I'm not crazy about is their mascara. Feel free to FM me! I own so many bare escentuals products.

Re: bare minerals?
The stuff is amazing!!! I was actually going to post about it. I've always wanted to have them do my makeup and buy the products, but i was waiting for an occasion. But I went and got it done on Friday and I LOVE it!!! I'll post pictures tonight of how it looks on. It feels sooo light on and its soo pretty!! I bought all the stuff the used on my friday and went back Saturday with my cousin and spent more money!

Also, I have to admit that the Physicians Formula mineral line, which is totally a knockoff of bare minerals, is pretty good too. If someone wanted to try out the trend but not spend $60 on the trial set that they have at sephora and Ulta.

A lot of places sell the starter kit. Thats how I started. It came with 2 shades of foundation, a bronzer sort of thing, a shimmer, an eye shadow and brushes. This is a good way to start! I'd pick up those items, maybe the mineral veil (fyi, the tinted mineral veil is really good for summer) and maybe an extra eye shadow. Check qvc.com - they sell them there and have all kinds of sets that you can't get in the regular stores.
