Bars in NYC

Hey ladies i need your help!

I'll be in the city in a couple a weeks for my FH's birthday. We'll be in the downtown area because i'm getting sneakers made for him at nike (he has an obsession lol) sooo does anyone have some good suggestions for a bar/lounge for later on that night? Maybe if it had an open bar that would be great too.......Thank You!!!

i have never been there but my sister & her boyfriend go to Mercury Bar (493 3 Avenue, between 33rd & 34th).

they have gone a whole bunch of times so they must like going.

can you tell me a little about these sneakers from Nike?? i design all of FHs sneakers using Nike ID. is it the same at that?

Arlo and Esme is really fun. and on the LES. Its actually a coffe bar upstairs and a lounge downstairs. We went there for my bday a few years ago and we were able to get a whole area. I dont think they have an open bar option though.

yes the same! Its just if you go in the city you get to meet with a designer and I thought it would be more fun and a great experience for him......plus I heard you might get more of a selection of materials then online?? i'm not 100% sure on that though......
