So my dad owns a business (boat repair/sales) and my dad is a HUGE fan of the barter system. He bartered his entire wedding services when he married my mom back in 1980 and barters just about every thing every chance he gets. He told FH about it and fh thinks its a great idea and then i read an article about it in a bridal mag but idk I'm a little uneasy about it. It isn't 1980 anymore. Has anyone ever done this? Would you ever do this?

If it was in writing I would do it I guess. I don't know since I have nothing of value to barter!
